Muppet Babies was my fav! Also loved the smurfs (have them on DVD now!) the snorks, carebears, my little pony and the glowworms, they were the best!! And strawberry shortcake, that was cool too!

I also remember 3.45 live, after school, and dangermouse, which was on at 4pm when i was 6 :P

And who could forget play school!

You were 6 when you watched Dangermouse? :rofl: It wasn't made until 1984. I was in my late teens then. My girls love it now - we've got the DVD's.

I don't remember many cartoons...just the ones they used to show before the movies (Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, etc.) Back in the days when you got to watch several cartoons before the main feature was shown, and had an Intermission in the middle of the main feature so you could go and buy more icecream.

Oh....Wacky Races. I do remember that. And Felix the Cat.

As for other kiddies TV shows...the Kiwi ones at the time included Spot On, Chicaboom, Here's Andy (or was it "Hey Hey It's Andy"??...something like that anyway, with a very young Andrew Shaw), Nice one Stu! and After School.

There were also programmes like The Bugaloos, and Sigmund and the Seamonsters. Old Dr Who episodes...before they were re-runs. MASH and Little House on the Prairie. Batman (the version with Adam West and Burt Ward). I still remember the first episode of the Dukes of Hazard - it wasn't what we'd been expecting from the title. LMAO

Oh yes, i loved the Dukes of Hazard (not a cartoon, but still). My cake when i was 6 was the car, coz i loved it so much.

I remember Alvin and the chipmunks! And Rainbow! And sooty, and puddle lane! That was sooooo cool! And does anyone remember that singing show that used to be on on saturday mornings, american kids sung songs and stuff, but the beginning started like all these kids did up this old rundown radio station and got it on the air?! Kids Song or something I think it was called. And who remembers TV kiwi and the cat shutting down at nights?

Oh my god shirttails! I do remember that! its so funny the things you dont remember til someone mentions it. i rememer a lot of others but i dont know the names of the shows, so frustrating! there was htis one with these little people on an island and i think they like harvested berries or something, meanwhile this evil woman and her two dumb henchmen were on a boat out at sea always plottong to either get the little people or get whatever it was they were making. god i wish i could remember what it was called!
