So, I just had a go at making myself some Mummy business cards, cause I saw them mentioned on another site. I need to get out and make some new mummy friends, and I thought this was quite a cool way to give people your number, or do you think people would just go "Huh???"

Mmmm... i don't mind them, but if i'd just met someone and they gave me one i'd think 'she's an oddball', having said that, it would make me remember you :P

Well, I AM an oddball :D Most of the people I am going to meet initially know me online anyway, so they already have my e-mail address, and all the necessary stalker info :D

Since he's on the phone, what about instead of the names at the bottom put 'Call me?' or something funny?

I think they are a great idea, for those times when you need a pen to write down ya details.- saves time as well :)

Yeah, I'm thinking maybe just my mobile number and e-mail address, since thats the way most people get in touch these days anyway!

mobile number and e-mail address is all that you need,
And its not like you are giving them out to everyone who walks past you,

I think they are adorable......I have "calling cards" with my name, address, email and phone # on them that I give to new people who want that information. Mine are plain white with a long-stemmed red rose on them.

I like the idea but I agree with Ameliasmomma in leaving out your cutie's picture. I have business cards that I leave everywhere and they have just the pertinent information: website address, home telephone # and email address. A friend of mine purchased inexpensive software to design and print your own business cards. She came up with a card similar to mine but she put a picture of a mommy outside with her children. Not a picture of her with her little ones though.

That is such a good idea. I might do that. But just with my number and email. Though i dont think may people mums would actually contact me cos im so young and most mummys are older. Heres hoping though.
