Hello and thanks for your warm welcome!!
We homeshcool but it is all done on computer.
It is free, all books are online and the newest editions and teacher is online and by phone-800 number to call. They have some classes where they are all on line together!
They give you a computer, scanner and printer for free.
They pay for your high speed internet all year long, too much money to hook and unhook for fall and when school is done.
Net nanny all the latest virus updates.
Proficiency testing is done at a nearby church.
We do field trips all over Ohio and get to see who theyve been emailing all year long, make some long distance pen pals and some new nearby friends!!
Its been a really great experience for us.
We have done the traditional homeschool where we provided everything.
And we have done public, montessori and parochial schools between the three kids.
I'd always found homeshooling interesting! I never in my life though I'd be doing it. But here I am. It works for us. My son , when he was still at home and in school, used to travel with a drum and bugle corp. all over the country. And my daughters swim for a Nationally recognized synchronized swim team and travel all over the country. This allows us to do schoolwork 24/7 access, any place. We would get in town in the middle of the night and have to get up 3 hours later and try to get up and be ready for school, it wasnt working, some teachers worked with us, some refused to.
So this is our answer.
Thanks for asking!

Wow Tina, that's great you found something that works!
Do they miss the regular social interaction with other kids, 5 days a week?
