Welcome Heather! Are you feeling the baby kick lots? Do you know if it's a boy or a girl?

The baby room is almost finished, however, my spouse and I aren't going all out because we live in an apartment ;). We are putting the baby's crib in our bedroom next to our bed. This will make those night time feedings much easier since I will be breast feeding.
And I am definently feeling the baby kick! I first felt movement around the 4th month, but now it's like baby is doing kick boxing in my tummy, lol!
As far as knowing the sex of our baby, we have decided to wait until delivery to find out. It will be such a BIG surprise. But I am very curious to know. It will make giving birth kinda fun (I hope, haha).
I am glad to see that there are many friendly people here. I look forward to participating in the forums! Thanks for the warm welcome!

Heather, i know you want a healthy baby, BUT do you secretly want a boy or a girl?

LOL, my fiance and I are both hoping for a girl ;).
My fiance is Italian/American and he has VERY curly hair, like banana curl curly, lol (he grows his hair out and I LOVE it). We hope that if we have a girl, she gets his dark curly hair and my grayish blue eyes ^_^.

Oh yes, that would be beautful!!!! Have you had any 'motherly' feelings towards what it is?

OH YES!!!
I am almost 100 % certain it's a Girl. I have just had that gut feeling the whole pregnancy. Kevin (daddy) feels the same. And before we even discussed this with our mothers, they said they think it's going to be a girl too!
So far, everyone we know has a 'feeling' it's a girl. So if it's a boy we will all be VERY surprised. But it won't be a bad thing :). One things for sure, delivery day will be very exciting for the whole family. We are all anxious to find out the sex of the baby!
