My Angel Baby

today you melted my heart,
you smiled at me and gave me a big,big hug.
I look at you now you'll be one in a week,
my baby is all grown up,
u'll be 18 before i know it and moving out of the family home.

i still to this day remeber the first time i held you,
i looked at you with the biggest smile and a tear in my eye,
you were perfect,i had never been happier.
all night long i layed there in the hospital bed,
with you beside me,just watching you sleep...
i couldn't stop smiling.
i couldn't wait to get home to show you off,
you are my angel baby...a dream come true.

if im having a bad day
all i need to do is give you a hug and know that nothing is really as bad as i think it is
you make a bad day good and a sad day happy.

i have never in my life been so proud or so happy til the day you entered this world
you fill my heart with so much love and joy nothing comes close to how much you mean to me
if anything was to happen to you i'd do what ever it would take to make things right in a heart beat.

you are my sun,
my colour and my happiness
