hey cool! someone else in ak. well youre way up there in fairbanks. i hear its way colder there than anchorage. but theres not much to do. camping, hiking, playing in the snow in the winter. hope you like it here. oh why did you move. my family moved up here from laredo tx. we've always lived between tx and ak. hope we can keep in touch, so cool to have another alaskan on here.

i get so exited when I see other people from alaska..being all the way up here, I feel so isolated from the rest of the world sometimes, so I'm very glad to see you! the reason why we moved up here is because my husband's sister is stationed up here. we also needed to get away from some things back home. i've only been here a week and i already have a job. i start tomorrow. wish me luck! hope to talk to you again soon!

super!!! good luck with your new job. its so funny, so many people move to alaska to get away from stuff and start out new. i've always joked that it because if you go any further noth you'll fall of the map. ha ha. yeah it really feels like the end of the world here. i also get excited to see other ak people on line. OR like in magazines you know how people somethimes write qestions or comments, whenever i see that its someone from ak i get so excited. like yeah this is life up here!!!! lol
