Have any of u seen this movie yet ?

I can't believe what great movies are coming out of my small country lol !

We went to see it on Saturday and it was a great laugh. My boys would have loved it but they class it as a '15' in this country.

What annoys me is that they swear so much, it wasn't necessary at all.

i've not seen it, not heard about it all really, except when it was advertised on tv the other day dd says she wanted to see it. theres too much swearing on films, theres no need for it. when it comes out on dvd you can let the boys see it as you've seen it and can decide for yourself if its suitable.

Nicholas Angel is the finest cop London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He's so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel's superiors send him to a place where his talents won't be quite so embarrassing - the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford. Once there, he is partnered with the well-meaning but overeager police officer Danny Butterman. The son of amiable Police Chief Frank Butterman, Danny is a huge action movie fan and believes his new big-city partner might just be a real-life "bad boy," and his chance to experience the life of gunfights and car chases he so longs for. Angel is quick to dismiss this as childish fantasy and Danny's puppy-like enthusiasm only adds to Angel's growing frustration. However, as a series of grisly accidents rocks the village, Angel is convinced that Sandford is not what it seems and as the intrigue deepens, Danny's dreams of explosive, high-octane, car-chasing, gunfighting, all-out action seem more and more like a reality. It's time for these small-town cops to break out some big-city justice.

That sounds really cute...dunno if it is but it sounds it!

Haven't heard if it's been released in Australia yet but will keep an eye out for sure.

re: Hot Fuzz

We finally got this out on DVD and watched it last night. Loved it! Never mind renting it, I should have bought a copy...which is definitely what I now intend to do. Very entertaining, very funny! (By the same people who did Shaun of the Dead; I loved Shaun of the Dead, but I think I'd have to say I found this one even funnier. :) )

Womble, if you love British comedy, don't mind a few swear words or the occasional bit of blood and gore, it's well worth seeing. I laughed all through it - loved it!!!

Highly recommend if the aforementioned criteria fit.

Spoiler ahead......

The funniest thing about the movie is that on their swear board the F word has #@^ in it but the C word is written out in full LMAO. I don't swear and don't like swearing movies but I thought the movie wouldn't have been so good without the swearing. I'm gunna go out and buy it now... thanks for the bump
