Over here in NZ we often see a lot of stuff about how sports made Americans are. Do you follow any sport? Do you have 1 for every season? Who are your favourite teams?
I enjoy watching the National NHRA series that we are lucky to get on ESPN here. Have heaps of favourite drivers amongst the regulars!

I'm not a big sports person at all...I don't hang out for the latest rugby or cricket scores by any means. LOL
When the Olympics etc are on, I'll sometimes watch a bit of swimming, or gymnastics. Iceskating/ice dancing with the winter Olympics, that sort of thing.
That's about the extent of it.
The last team sport that I was ever into was Paintball. :)

It can certainly add up. DH was into the tournament scene for quite a number of years, a fair few of them as team captain. They sure went through a lot of paint. :)

It's been several years since he quit, but prior to that the team had existed for 10 years. Basically a group split off to form a new team - they'd been fairly new additions to the team, but they basically broke the team in half and because that had happened once before the remaining guys, DH included, basically decided they'd had enough of all the politics etc and couldn't really be bothered trying to build it back up again, so they called it a day. Besides, two of the other long-term key players (really loyal team mates) were moving away from Auckland around the same time...so that was the end of that.
The team was Kamo Karzi.

DH was known as Wolf to most people in the paintball scene. I don't think many people would recognise his real name.
And yes, politics ruins so many things. :(

I follow a bit of baseball,a spring & summer game over here,as the older gents at work love it & watch every game that's on! Also Marc likes to cheer for the RED SOX thats the big team from Boston,Mass. He also likes to watch football in the fall & winter, again the boston team the PATRIOTS are his pick! I don't care much for either.I played basket ball in high school,so I use to follow the Celtics, again the Boston team.I also liked the Bulls out of Chicago, they had Micheal Jordan,& the team really worked well together.Beyond that I only follow equestrian sports when I'm actively competeing myself, and of course The Olympics summer games for horse stuff, and ice skating for winter games.
As a family we like hiking, biking, swimming & camping not sure those are considered sports, but must be fairly athletic to enjoy them!

P.S. Selena...sorry for hijacking this thread earlier...it wasn't intended.
I must have been really tired, and when I first responded to it I didn't even twig that it was aimed at our USA members. LOL Doh! (See...I really am going senile.....)
