these are for steaming veges and fish and stuff in the microwave i thought they would be worth a try and they are great all you do it wash, peel, cut up your veges put them in the bag and chuck them in the microwave for 2-3 mins (ok more like 3-5mins in my old crappy microwave) and let stand for 1 min and thats it your veges are done and ready to serve, its great for people like me who forget about putting the veges on until its getting too late and then i have to turn off the meat and wait for the veges to cook and then turn the meat back on and cook it till its hot cause it takes not much more than 10-15mins to do all your veges

I agree with Esme on this one!
I discovered these when we were renovating out kitchen! We had the microwave set up in the laundry and these bags were a god-send!
And no pots to clean up after either LOL

Sounds neat I buy steam fresh veggies at the grocery store they are frozen already in a bag the same way you microwave for 5 min and they are steamed and so fresh

so far iv cooked broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onion, pumpkin, silverbeet, mushrooms, potatoes and beans and most of them take no longer than 3-5 mins and are cooked and yummy. and the no pots to clean is a bonus

Do potatoes come out nicely? I always find them dry from the microwave.

i added butter over them before i cooked them and chucked them in for 3 mins took out and mixed them all around so the middle ones were on the outside and the outside ones were on the inside and put them in for another 3 mins and they were yummy
