Just wondering...

I have noticed that alot of the 2004 babies are now in kindy,pre school head start whatever you call it so who goes and who doesnt yet? Is there any specific reasons youve put them in or just because everyone else is? ( Im not saying they shouldnt just wondering)


Alex wont go till next August as I wasnt happy with the one for 3 year olds that Bethany went to and the one I want him to go to wont take him till hes 4...

Julia goes to Montessori. We sent Angela there and it's a lovely environment. They take children from 2&1/2 :)

Well Rylee starts kindy tomorrow :)

This will be her first time in anything like this, I've kept her home with me since she was born :heart:

Emma is in preschool because I work. I would have loved to be at home with her for longer but being a single parent I was financially a lot better off going back to work.

At the momment Claudia goes to playcentre with me and Logan but we got a ph call today and starts Kindy on thursday.

I started taking her to playcentre just to meet other kids and so I could meet other mums as well, and a couple of mths ago I enrolled her in Kindy only so its somewhere she can go with out me and hopefully start talking abit more.

The boys had been in an infants & toddlers room program 2 days a week since last fall,it was encouraged due to their lead poisoning.They had to leave there as they are not recieving any services from there so they didn't qualify to go to the 3yr olds room.They are in Head Start mon-thurs,8:30-11:30.There are 11 children total,so they are finally getting to interact with other children their age.They absolutely LOVE going to school!It's a funded program,I'm not working @ present so we don't have to pay right now which is a plus.

I think it's different for every child....as a parent you just have to read the signs. Jacob wasn't ready till right before his 4th birthday but I think Gracie will be ready around 3.....she needs time away from me and vice versa :)
