A friend of mine is looking for an Egyptian playset by Playmobil but its only available in Europe she thinks in Germany.

Not me, looks as though the set was released in January, wouldn't be surprised if it makes it's way into other markets soon. Amazon does have 1 of the figures

why I am investigating this, I dontknow, as if i am not busy...anyway, I think you are correct about it being only for sale in germany, god knows why...cause it is cool. here is the german online shop. but unless you speak german, god knows what it says. I wonder if they ship overseas? but you would have to translate the page.

Each country has their own online store which is laid out the same as the others, can't see where it says they don't ship outside the country but there's nothing to say they do either.

Germany is the home of Playmobil so would make sense that they have the products first.

Kermit, I also did a huge search too when I first saw this thread!

Yeah she heard its not going to get released in US for another year but her soon to be 5 year old really really wants this and only talks about it. Don't know how much it is but its really cool. :) She's trying to get one for his birthday in August but doesn't think she can order from here. I have a friend in UK that is looking around and said she'd order and send to her.

I was using an online translator to try to figure out what the Germany site is saying. LOL I did find a UK site that sells them but out of stock until August 25th which might be to late or close to his birthday.
